Jianzhu Chen

Professor Chen received his B.S degree from Wuhan University in China and a Ph.D. in Genetics from Stanford University in 1990. He was a post-doctoral fellow and then an instructor at Harvard Medical School before he joined the MIT faculty in the Department of Biology. Professor Chen was formerly the Lead Principal Investigator of the Infectious Diseases Interdisciplinary Research Group at SMART from 2008-2017.
